Terms and Conditions for the Teacher
You must agree to the terms and conditions to teach on Tufluent

1. Independent Contractor Status

  • Teachers on Tufluent are independent third-party vendors and not employees, agents, or representatives of Tufluent.
  • You are solely responsible for managing your teaching schedule, pricing (within platform limits), and lesson content.
  • Tufluent provides the platform and tools for connecting with students but does not employ or endorse teachers.

2. Tax and Legal Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for complying with all tax obligations in your country, including reporting and paying any taxes related to your earnings from Tufluent.
  • Tufluent does not withhold or manage tax payments on your behalf.
  • It is your responsibility to comply with any local laws related to offering online educational services.

3. Professional Conduct

  • You must treat all students with respect, honesty, and fairness.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior towards students or other users is strictly prohibited.
  • You should maintain clear and professional communication at all times.
  • You must honor scheduled classes and provide timely notice for any cancellations.

4. Scheduling, Pricing, and Community Requirements

  • Teachers have full control over their schedules and lesson pricing within Tufluent’s minimum and maximum pricing limits. Community subscriptions have defined pricing tiers, you may not charge less or more outside of the tier price.
  • All teachers are required to host at least one free community. Failure to do so will result in deactivation of teaching account.
  • Cancellations and rescheduling must be handled professionally. Frequent cancellations may result in penalties or account suspension.

5. Remote Education Delivery

  • Classes can be conducted through tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or other video conferencing software. Teachers must provide the meeting link for their events.
  • Teachers must ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for classes.

6. Account Integrity & Content Standards

  • Teachers must provide accurate information in their profiles, including real names, qualifications, and teaching experience.
  • Fraudulent or misleading information may result in immediate removal from the platform.
  • Lesson content must be appropriate, educational, and aligned with Tufluent’s standards. Any inappropriate or harmful content is strictly prohibited.

7. Payment & Fees

  • Teachers are paid via Stripe Connect (if available in their country) or PayPal. A valid payment account must be linked to receive earnings.
  • Tufluent charges commission fees on private classes, lesson packages, and community subscriptions. Commission details are available in your dashboard.
  • A Monthly subscription option is available to reduce commissions taken by Tufluent.

8. Termination & Policy Violations

  • Tufluent reserves the right to suspend or terminate a teacher’s account if they violate platform policies.
  • Violations include, but are not limited to, fraud, misconduct, failure to meet scheduling commitments, or inactivity of account holder.
  • Teachers can request to close their accounts at any time, but earnings will only be processed as per platform payout schedules.

9. Agreement & Acceptance

By registering as a teacher, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in suspension or termination of your account.
